創作背景
《尋夢環遊記》的導演李·昂克里奇自從2006年看了羅伯特·洛佩茲和克里斯汀·安德生-洛佩茲共同創作的音樂劇《海底總動員》後就一直很欣賞他們，李·昂克里奇特邀他們為該部影片創作了《Remember Me》。為了讓歌曲的歌詞表現出他的重大意義，羅伯特和克里斯汀研究了墨西哥的流行音樂，希望可以寫出與Jorge Negrete、Pedro Infante作品風格相似的歌詞。他們想把它寫成一首“Bolero Ranchero”風格的歌曲或者安靜的民謠。克里斯汀想通過該首歌有表達對遠方人的思念，並希望歌詞能夠從字面上帶給人們活力。
