作者簡介
喬伊斯·西德曼，最為人稱道的是她清新、富有創意的兒童詩歌。她的獲獎代表作包括《黑暗君主》（獲紐柏瑞獎）、《沃爾特·包特曼之歌》和《紅色音符在樹梢》（兩部作品皆榮膺凱迪克獎）、《蝴蝶之眼》（西比爾斯獎），以及《是為將言》（克勞迪婭·劉易斯詩歌獎）。正如《學校圖書館期刊》最近的星級書評所言：“西德曼有一對善於傾聽的耳朵，可以抓住許多的聲音。作為一位詩人，她的作品可以真正觸碰年輕人的心，這種天賦是獨一無二的。”喬伊斯生於美國康乃狄克州，目前居住在明尼蘇達。
