Metamorphosis是美國加州搖滾樂團Papa Roach的第五張專輯。

該專輯於2009年3月24日由DGC/Interscope發行。專輯原本計畫命名為Days of War, Nights of Love，這是從樂團之前專輯The Paramour Sessions中的一首歌"No More Secrets"中引用的歌詞。之後，這張專輯中的兩首歌被命名為"Days of War“和"Nights of Love"。

這也是在前任鼓手Dave Buckner離開後，樂隊第一張以Tony Palermo為鼓手的專輯。

在2008年5月17日，Papa Roach在Tennessee Crawfish Boil的Nashville表演了兩首新歌，"Hanging On"和“Change or Die"。在主唱Jacoby Shaddix決定改變副歌歌詞後，"Hanging On"被重新命名為"Lifeline"。樂隊於7月1日在West Palm Beach, Florida的Cruzan Amphitheater表演了專輯中的第三首歌，"I Almost Told You that I Loved You"。正是在那個時候，主唱Jacoby Shaddix宣布了專輯的預計發行時間是8月26日。然而，之後在Pulse Radio上主唱Shaddix又提到說專輯的發行時間已經被推遲到了2009年3月，因為”We want a new fresh year, a great start.“
Mötley Crüe的主音吉他Mick Mars在歌曲"Into the Light"中表演了吉他solo。
在2008年10月26日，歌曲"Hollywood Whore"以MV的形式通過樂隊的官方歌迷網站進行了發布，並在兩天后正式以EP形式在加拿大發行。在其它地區，這首歌可以在iTunes上以數字單曲的形式獲取。
歌曲"Change or Die"在視頻遊戲”UFC Undisputed 2009"中被採用。
歌曲“Into the Light"在視頻遊戲”NHL 10“中被採用。
