他是英國著名基督教搖滾樂隊Delirious？的主唱。他曾為Michael W. Smith的2004年專輯Heating rain與其共同譜寫三首歌曲，並將與其合作來完成自己的專輯。Martin又曾為Matt Redman的06年專輯Beautiful News與其合作寫過兩首歌 (" Take it to the streets" and "All over the World"）。1995年，Martin遭遇車禍，在他進行康復的幾周里，他決定要當一名全職的音樂人。於是，他為Delirious？新專輯King of Fools寫了一首叫做‘August 30’的歌
