創作背景
很多人都以為，這首歌是泰勒寫給一個叫史蒂芬的前男友之類的人物，事實上，完全不是這么回事！史蒂芬確實是一個存在的人物，但他可沒有和泰勒拍過拖，甚至連約會也沒有！
史蒂芬是美國一個鄉村樂隊Love and Theft的主唱。他和泰勒的第一次會面是在2007年一次演出的後台。08年時，他們曾擔任泰勒巡演的暖場嘉賓，當時作為主唱的史蒂芬留給了泰勒很深的印象，然而史蒂芬自己卻毫不知覺。史蒂芬聽到這首歌，當時心裡的感覺就是：wow, it’s probably one of the nicest things that anybody’s ever done for me.
後來史蒂芬在接受人物雜誌的的採訪時還說，寫這么一首歌給某人是很嚴重的挑逗，而泰勒接受Philadelphia Magazine採訪時表示這首歌是關於一個她很喜歡的人，她在歌里給出了他應該和自己在一起的種種理由。她還說那男的毫不知情，當他發現的一切的那一刻一定會很有趣。
