瑪格麗特·阿特伍德（Margare Atwood，1939—）出生於加拿大渥太華，早年在安大略北部和魁北克度過，1962年獲哈佛大學文科碩士學位，曾任加拿大作家協會主席。她是加拿大最著名的小說家和詩人，其作品迄今已在全球35個國家出版。她曾推出30多部作品，其中包括小說、詩歌與批評散文。她的小說《女僕的故事》《貓眼》與《別名格雷斯》曾獲得加拿大的吉勒爾獎與義大利的雷米歐.蒙德羅獎；《盲刺客》曾獲2000年英國布克小說獎。
譯者：
周瓚，詩人、學者、譯者、戲劇工作者。1999年北京大學中文系博士畢業。1998年，與詩人翟永明等創辦女性詩歌民刊《翼》，2007年參加北京帳篷戲劇小組，為北京流火帳篷劇社核心成員。2008年，與導演曹克非創辦“瓢蟲劇社”。出版有詩集《鬆開》、《寫在薛濤箋上》，瑪格麗特·阿特伍德詩集《吃火》，尼娜·卡香詩集《葬禮上的啦啦隊長》，學術著作《透過詩歌寫作的潛望鏡》、《掙脫沉默之後》等。現居北京。
