Auld lang syne

Auld Lang Syne是一首非常出名的詩歌，原文是古蘇格蘭方言，直譯做英文是"old long since"或"days gone by"，大意為“逝去已久的日子”。Auld Lang Syne是十八世紀蘇格蘭詩人羅伯特布恩斯(Robert Burns)根據當地民歌記錄下的。這首詩後來被譜了樂曲，除了英文外，這首歌亦被多國譜上當地語言，在中國各地普遍稱為《友誼地久天長》。在80年代以前，人們通常可以哼出歌曲的旋律，比較流行，但大部份人只可唱出歌詞的一小段。

在很多西方國家，這首歌通常會在平安夜演唱，象徵送走舊年而迎接新年的來臨，有時也會在聖誕節的時候唱，這就是這首歌聽得像聖誕歌的原因。它的主調並沒有中文版本那樣感傷，而這首歌在很多亞洲地區中的學校畢業禮或葬禮中作為主題曲，象徵告別或結束的情感。

這首歌曾被不少經典電影引用，如在由費雯麗主演的經典電影《魂斷藍橋》中，此曲被用作為主旋律，而在《風雲人物》中，片尾眾人合唱此曲。

在BBC逍遙音樂會的最後一夜上，音樂會正式部分結束後，觀眾有自發地合唱這首歌的習慣。

據知，部分百貨公司或機構在臨近關門的時間，會播出此音樂，示意客人儘快離開。

這首歌的譯名很多，有稱之為《驪歌》，有的根據原題譯為《憶往日》、《過去的時光》，有的根據詞意取名為《友誼之歌》或《友誼地久天長》，也有根據《魂斷藍橋》在樂隊領班說的“一路平安”這句話，和瑪拉送別勞寧時說的“一路平安”而取名為《一路平安》。
