亞歷山大·盧諾瓦 (Alexandre Lunois) 於 1863 年 2 月 2 日出生於巴黎。Lunois 是一名自學者，被認為是 lithotint 技術的重新發明者。亞歷山大·盧諾瓦的第一部作品是黑白石版畫，包括“巴黎生活場景”、“馬戲團”和“荷蘭場景”。受到他每年旅行的啟發，亞歷山大·盧諾伊斯 (Alexandre Lunois) 越來越多地從事彩色平版印刷。他為 Theophile Gautier 的“Fortunio”等製作插圖。從 1907 年起，亞歷山大·盧諾伊斯 (Alexandre Lunois) 還擔任雕刻師，並在自己的出版社出版了漢斯·克里斯蒂安·安徒生 (Hans Christian Andersen) 童話故事的豪華版，其中有 66 幅版畫，標題為“歷史與冒險”(Histoires et Aventures)。Lunois 於 1916 年 9 月 2 日在 Le-Pecq 去世。
