在2013年11月7日-10日，原版美國百老匯-2013成都百老匯音樂節首次在成都舉行。音樂節將展現十幾部百老匯經典音樂劇，幾十首名曲，匯集美國百老匯一流的演員和數十首百老匯經典歌曲。

百老匯介紹
在百老匯興盛的前幾十年里，其劇中的流行曲目通常可以被幾代人所同時喜愛和欣賞。此後，隨著搖滾樂的出現和興盛，原本的局面被漸漸打破。搖滾樂的出現將兩代人對流行音樂的定義區分開來。老一代依然喜歡百老匯中的流行音樂然而年輕人開始追捧新興的搖滾藝術家：恰比·切克(Chubby Checker)，傑瑞·劉易斯(Jerry Lee Lewis)，巴蒂·霍利(Buddy Holly)，貓王(Elvis)，而最終披頭士(The Beatles)的出現將新一代的音樂徹底改變。最終，搖滾樂在百老匯的舞台上找到了他的出路：《毛髮》、《乖乖睡哈姆雷特》、《花花公子》、搖滾歌劇《萬世之星》、《誰是湯米》都深受觀眾歡迎。百老匯學者通常將《再見了小鳥》視為第一部有影響力的百老匯搖滾音樂劇。
