魯道夫·赫爾曼·陸宰（德語：Rudolf Herman Lotze，1817年5月21日－1881年7月1日）是一位德國 哲學家、邏輯學家。他還擁有醫學學位，並且精通生物學。他的醫學研究成為科學心理學的先鋒工作。

陸宰出生在德意志薩克森王國的鮑岑，父親是一名軍醫。在他幼年的時候，父親被調往齊陶，因此陸宰在齊陶接受了市鎮國小和文科中學的教育；他對於古典作家有著持久的愛好，在中年時期還將古希臘劇作家索福克勒斯的作品《安提戈涅》翻譯成拉丁文韻文發表。
1834年，17歲的陸宰進入萊比錫大學，先學習哲學和自然科學，作為學習醫學的準備。陸宰早期的學習興趣集中在兩個不同的方面：一個是科學領域的數學和物理學，受到了E. H.韋伯、W. Volckmann和古斯塔夫·費希納的指導；第二方面的興趣是審美和藝術方面，他在這一方面的發展得到了Christian Hermann Weisse的關心。他同時被自然科學和費希特、弗里德里希·謝林和格奧爾格·威廉·弗里德里希·黑格爾的思想所吸引。
陸宰的第一篇論文《De futurae biologiae principibus philosophicis》(1838)使他獲得了醫學博士學位，4個月後又獲得哲學博士學位。他在萊比錫擔任初級講師（junior lecturer）時，發表了兩本小書《Metaphysik》（1841年）和《Logik》(1843)，創建自己的哲學體系。從那裡他來到格廷根大學，繼承約翰·弗里德里希·赫爾巴特的哲學教席。
