2003年7月於武漢大學化學與分子科學學院獲得工學、理學雙學位，2008年12月武漢大學高分子物理與化學專業獲得理學博士，2007-2008於法國法國國家科學中心（CERMAV-CNRS）攻讀聯合培養博士學位。
研究領域
主要從事園藝產品功能成分、天然藥物和生物醫用材料研究與開發。

主持國家自然科學基金和博士後基金，參與國家柑橘創新團隊、農業部公益性行業專項和教育部重大技術創新項目。在biopolymers，Food&Function等雜誌發表SCI論文20篇，申請/獲批專利10項，獲批2項，其中專利“一種生物活性材料、其製備方法及套用”在進行產業化，產品進入臨床。出版教材、專著兩本，名為《園藝產品功能成分》和《檸檬與生活》。
