人物經歷

沃頓商學院博士,工商管理學院院長。德拉瓦大學教授。
長期從事於管理科學與運籌學方面的研究,主要研究方向包括最佳化理論與技術以及在生產,後勤,和供應鏈領域的套用。共發表SCI檢索論文31篇,其中很大部分刊登在該領域頂尖級期刊上。如《OperationsResearch》、《MathematicalProgramming》、《SIAMJournalofOptimization》、《TransportationScience》、《IEEETransactiononAutomaticControl》。論文涉及多個研究方向,特別是對均衡最佳化問題的研究取得了一批重要的理論成果,包括首先提出現在最佳化領域裡經常使用的"Chen-Harker-Kanzow-Smale"磨光函式。據美國ISIWebofScience統計,有5篇論文入選10年間全世界高引用率數學論文;全部論文累計被SCI他人引用300餘次。2006年獲得國家自然科學基金(兩地基金)。現任《ProductionandOperationsManagement》期刊編委。
主講本科生,MBA,及博士生運籌學與運籌管理方面的課程,最近在嘗試教學與解決實際項目相結合的新方法,許多課程項目的建議和研究成果被美國西北部企業所採納和使用,改善了企業運作,獲得了很大的經濟效益。
在華盛頓州立大學商學院,1998年獲得有突出貢獻的研究學者獎(全院每年一名);2004年獲得優秀教師獎(全院每年一名);2006年獲得DonandMaryAnnParachini教師獎學金。2003年被選為華盛頓州立大學MarianE.Smith教師成就獎(全校每年一名)的最後候選人。現任《ProductionandOperationsManagement》編委。
陳濱桐院長對學校良好的社會聲譽和厚實的學術底蘊給予了高度評價,並提出了學院未來工作的構想。一是要遵循合作精神原則,加強彼此溝通和了解;二是基於國際化視野,對學院發展現狀進行深入分析;三是建立合理目標,不斷提升學科競爭力;四是要創造有利的科研環境和文化,推進教學與國際接軌,引入行銷理念推廣學院品牌,進一步提升學院影響力。
2008年底,中央人才工作協調小組結合國際金融危機帶來的人才引進有利時機,提出引進海外高層次人才的計畫(簡稱“千人計畫”),並制定了關於實施海外高層次人才引進計畫的意見。“千人計畫”主要是圍繞國家發展戰略目標,在未來的5到10年內為國家重點創新項目、重點學科和重點實驗室、中央企業和國有商業金融機構等,引進2000名左右人才並有重點地支持一批能夠突破關鍵技術、發展高新產業、帶動新興學科的戰略科學家和領軍人才來華創新創業。
陳濱桐教授入選“千人計畫”是我校高層次人才引進工作繼金融學院海外特聘院長劉俊教授、經濟信息工程學院段江老師入選四川省 “百人計畫”取得的又一好成績,充分反映了近年來我校創新人才引進機制,加大人才引進力度,著力構建西部經濟與管理人才高地所取得的顯著成效。
