陳清奇,男,祖籍湖南省安仁縣,中國旅美化學家和藥學家, 1993年畢業於北京大學獲理學博士學位,研究 領域和研究方向為新藥研發與藥物合成化學。

簡介

從1993 年~1998年,曾先後在奧地利(Johannes-Kepler University Linz),美國(University of Nevada Reno), 加拿大(The University of British Columbia) 等大學留學和工作,主要從事新藥研發、天然產物全合成、藥物化學等方面的研究。1998 年起進入生物製藥和生物技術工業界發展,曾先後在美國數家生物醫藥高科技公司從事抗癌新藥研究和開發,曾擔任各種關鍵職位, 歷任高級科學家, 研究課題負責人, 研究室主任和副總裁和總裁,在新藥研發, 藥物篩選, 藥品配方, 藥物化學合成和生產工藝,新藥臨床前研究等方面有比較豐富的經驗。 此外陳清奇曾在2002年 ~ 2005年與朋友起在美國加州舊金山市創辦一家生物醫藥公司,成功地向美國市場推出了2種具有療效功能的保健產品。
陳清奇博士於2008年在美國北卡羅萊納州的研究三角區創辦了MedKoo醫藥科技公司。該公司目前正在建設一個全球最大的抗癌化合物庫。公司的主要業務是向全球所有從事抗癌藥物研究開發的製藥企業,科研機構和大專院校提供最好的抗癌藥物、抗癌化學試劑、抗癌藥原料和化學中間體。 MedKoo 的目標是打造全球規模最大、品種最多、類別最全和質量最好的小分子抗癌化合物庫。MedKoo的抗癌藥庫將由下列5個分子庫組成:(1)上市抗癌藥庫:該庫將含有大約100個全球已批准上市的小分子抗癌化合物;(2)抗癌候選藥物庫:該分子庫含有大約400個世界各國正在臨床研究中抗癌小分子候選藥物;(3)同系抗癌分子庫:該分子庫將含有多個化學結構類似或抗癌機制類似的分子包;(4)抗癌分子預製模組庫:該庫主要含有用於組建抗癌目標分子的分子模組包; (5)同位素標記抗癌分子庫.

主要工作成果

1. 在新藥研發方面: 在陳清奇參與或負責部分研發工作的藥物中,已有3種獲美國FDA及全球八十多個國家批准上市,另外還有數種進入了臨床試驗,10餘種進入臨床前試驗階段;
2. 曾參與開發了3個藥物的化學全合成生產工藝,這些成果已套用於實際生產中. 這些藥物目前正在全球八十多個國家銷售;
3. 迄今為止編寫和出版了總字數超過600萬的6部藥學和化學著作:
-- 《小分子藥物的生產製造與化學全合成路線手冊》,湖南科技出版社(2008年4月);
-- 《美國藥品專利研究指南》,科學出版社(2008年6月由);

5. 曾於1999年入選中國科學院”百人計畫”教授及博導, 目前兼任華南師範大學化學系藥物化學和新藥研發客座教授。
