1983年8月-1989年初，在中國地質科學院地質研究所工作。
1989年初-1992年7月，在法國雷恩大學,攻讀博士學位。
1992年6月，獲博士學位。
1992年12月-1995年8月，在中國科學院地質研究所作博士後。
1995年9月-今，在北京大學電子顯微鏡實驗室工作。
