陳慶春,重慶大學學士(1994)、碩士(1997),西南交通大學博士(2004),美國哈佛大學訪問學者(2010),現為西南交通大學教授、博士生導師,教育部新世紀優秀人才(2006)。近年來主持國家自然科學基金3項,主持教育部霍英東教育基金優選資助課題、教育部重點科學技術研究計畫等省部級科研項目和產學研委託科研開發項目9項。在國際國內重要學術期刊和國際學術會議發表論文70餘篇,申請中國發明專利10餘項,參編學術專著和教材各1部。擔任IEEE成都分會移動車輛技術分部副主席。
