陳宗仕，男，博士，浙江大學教授、博士生導師，現任社會學研究所所長。1997年獲中國人民大學社會學學士學位，1999年獲該校法律碩士學位，後赴加州大學伯克利分校深造並取得社會學博士學位。曾任廣州日報記者、韓國延世大學助理教授，2013年起在浙江大學社會學系任教，2020年晉升教授。
主要研究方向為組織社會學、經濟社會學、環境社會學及政府-市場關係、企業社會責任。主持國家社科基金課題《企業社會責任的制度社會學分析研究》，研究成果發表於《社會學研究》《Chinese Sociological Review》等期刊，出版英文專著《The Revival, Legitimization and Development of Private Enterprise in China》和中文合著《社會學思維》。曾獲中國社會學年會優秀論文一等獎，多次獲浙江大學先進工作者、優秀班主任稱號。擔任2023年中國社會學會年會經濟社會學分論壇召集人，並在2024年浙江大學經濟社會學工作坊主持學術討論。其學術主張包括構建自主知識體系與社會學中國學派，強調研究方法嚴謹性與立足中國實際開展學術研究。

中國人民大學社會學學士，法律碩士，加州大學伯克利分校社會學碩士、博士。他曾是廣州日報記者編輯。入職浙大之前，他曾在韓國延世大學擔任助理教授。浙江大學社會學系主任助理，曾協助分管本科教學，現協助分管研究生教學
