1998年獲哈爾濱工業大學數學系學士學位
2003年獲哈爾濱工業大學基礎數學專業博士學位
2000年3月在哈爾濱工業大學數學系參加工作
2004年8月被評為副教授
2005年4月被評為碩士生導師
2008年8月至2009年8月在美國堪薩斯州立大學數學系訪問研究

研究方向
主要研究領域為代數（同調代數與代數K理論、代數數論、組合矩陣、矩陣分析）理論及其在組合數學、圖論及博弈論等領域上的套用，已在國內外知名SCI刊物上發表論文20餘篇；作為主要成員參加4項國家自然科學基金項目，作為項目負責人主持完成2項國家自然科學基金項目。任德國《數學文摘》zbMATH評論員，美國《數學評論》Mathematical Reviews

主要成就
主要講授本科生《近世代數》、《高等代數續》及《代數與幾何》，研究生《抽象代數》、《群論》、《交換代數》及《矩陣分析》等課程；2008年8月至2009年8月在國家留學基金委資助下作為國家公派訪問學者在美國堪薩斯州立大學數學系進修. 2005年被評為碩士生導師，指導碩士研究生總計20名，2011年被評為博士生導師，指導及協助指導的研究生中, 20餘人獲得碩士學位，7人獲得博士學位。在培養本科生科研能力方面有比較豐富的經驗，學生劉柏英的本科畢業論文《Toric簇及其套用》獲2007年華人數學家大會（ICCM2007）“新世界數學”大學生科研獎銀獎；經本人指導的多名學生論文被評為“校級優秀本科論文”；部分優秀學生畢業後獲得MIT, UMN及NUS等名校獎學金,並且獲得博士學位。 在導師游宏教授指導下完成的博士論文於2004 年被評為“哈爾濱工業大學優秀博士學位論文”. 2016年獲得黑龍江省數學會首屆 “優秀青年學術獎”。 部分學術論文： 1.Sheng Chen, Chao Xia A class of posets with integral Laplacian spectrum Linear Algebra and its Applications Volume 529, 15 September 2017, Pages 258–270 https://doi.org/10.1016/j.laa.2017.04.027 【構造性地證明了一類偏序集具有“整”拉普拉斯譜】 2.
