趙萍：女，博士，西南大學家蠶基因組生物學國家重點實驗室教授，博士生導師。畢業院校於西南農業大學。1985年畢業於蠶桑系，1997年11月作為訪問研究員到日本九州大學農學部任訪問研究員，2002年3月獲日本九州大學遺傳工程學科碩士學位，2008年獲西南大學博士學位。
主要從事功能基因組與蛋白質組學研究。參加完成了中國家蠶全基因組框架圖譜繪製工作，以家蠶作為鱗翅目昆蟲的模式生物，利用分子生物學和蛋白質組學研究技術對絲蛋白合成相關基因和其它昆蟲功能蛋白進行研究。主持863項目子課題、國家自然科學基金、省部級課題5項，主研“973”、“863”、國家自然科學基金和省市級重點項目10餘項。獲重慶市自然科學獎一等獎1項。近年來在《SCIENCE》、《GENOMICS》、《Insect Molecular Biology》、《PLoS one》、《BMC Genomics》、《Funct Integr Genomics》、《The Protein Journal》等重要學術刊物上發表研究論文40餘篇。

主要貢獻
參加完成了家蠶全基因組框架圖譜和精細圖的繪製工作，建立了家蠶蛋白質組學研究平台,為實驗室家蠶蛋白質組學研究的學術帶頭人。主要以家蠶作為鱗翅目昆蟲的模式生物，利用分子生物學和蛋白質組學研究技術對昆蟲重要的功能蛋白進行研究。基於家蠶全基因組序列，重點對絲腺重要特異功能基因、家蠶30K蛋白和絲氨酸蛋白酶及抑制劑進行了系統分析和功能研究；建立了一套適合於家蠶功能基因組研究的雙向電泳和質譜分析的技術體系，培養了一批從事蛋白質組學研究的技術人材，建立了家蠶各組織器官的蛋白質圖譜資料庫；通過對家蠶不同發育時期及不同組織器官的比較蛋白質組學研究，發現了一批與絲蛋白合成、家蠶變態發育和免疫防禦相關的重點蛋白，其功能的研究為高性能新型蠶絲纖維的研發和抗病育種的培育奠定了基礎。同時主持863項目子課題、國家自然科學基金、省部級課題6項，主研“973”、“863”、國家自然科學基金和省市級重點項目10餘項。近年來在SCIENCE，PLoS ONE,，BMC Genomics，ProteomeScience，The Protein Journa等重要學術刊物上發表研究論文40餘篇。
