賽普勒斯國際(英特爾）學院在2007年9月通過賽普勒斯文化教育部的批准， 已升級為綜合類大學， 正式命名為“賽普勒斯尼可西亞大學”。
尼可西亞大學除了提供文科，理科， 商科和教育領域的本科教育之外， 還提供工商管理,國際公共關係,傳媒等專業的碩士研究生教育。
位於賽普勒斯首都的尼可西亞大學已經成長為一個國際化的教育中心。來自世界各地的學生在這個三大洲交匯的愛神之島上將有機會體驗不同的文明和文化，他們將擁有國際化的視野，掌握在不同的環境裡溝通理解， 發展友誼， 建立成功合作的本領。
尼可西亞大學積極致力於國際性的公益事業。 由於在環境保護公益事業中的突出貢獻，曾被聯合國授予“全球最佳500”的殊榮 ！尼可西亞大學還積極投身於“消除世界飢餓和貧困”的公益籌款活動; 並為獄犯提供挽救教育及出獄後再就業技能的培訓。
尼可西亞大學由於在“多文化教育”領域的突出貢獻， 榮獲了“聯合國教科文衛組織"全球僅有的兩個院校席位中的一個，全球共有兩所大學獲此殊榮（另一所是希臘的“Thessaloniki”大學）。
2006年受賽普勒斯政府的委託， 尼可西亞大學代表賽普勒斯首都“尼可西亞”來華參加“國際休閒博覽會“。 在為期半年的展會期間，尼可西亞大學展示了地中海愛神之島-----賽普勒斯5000年悠久歷史的休閒文化， 先進的高等教育，並為中國有意進入歐盟的企業和機構提供了專業服務。 她還為中國帶來歐洲上市旅遊企業和世界頂極的旅遊度假休閒產品。
