薛 天 中國科學技術大學生命科學院和合肥微尺度國家實驗室，教授、博士生導師，國家自然科學基金委優秀青年基金獲得者(2013)，科技部國家重大科學研究計畫青年973項目首席科學家（2013），入選科技部創新人才推進計畫"重點領域創新團隊"（2013）, 2014年獲國際知名研究資助組織Human Frontier Science Program (HFSP) Young Investigator Grants。長期從事光感受神經生物學的光信號轉導和神經環路以及幹細胞相關的感光細胞再生等研究。至今共發表SCI論文24篇，多篇第一或通訊作者論文發表在Nature（通訊作者）、Nature Neuroscience、Circulation、Circulation Research、Stem Cells等學術期刊，引用超過1000餘次。
2000年畢業於中國科學技術大學少年班系（強化班）獲學士學位;
2005年獲美國約翰霍普金斯大學醫學院生理學博士;
2006-2011年在美國約翰霍普金斯大學醫學院從事感受器官神經生物博士後研究工作;
2011-2012年任美國約翰霍普金斯大學醫學院助理研究員。
2012-至今 中國科學技術大學生命科學學院和微尺度國家實驗室，教授
本實驗室致力於了解生物體對於外界刺激（特別是光信號）感受以及行為反應的分子和神經環路基礎，以及如何利用基因治療和幹細胞等手段修復受損視覺（治療失明）。
