莫西婭·夢露出生於聖路易斯。她父親曾為聯合國工作駐守與所羅門島和斐濟，所以她童年的時光大部分在南太平洋群島中度過。之後她搬回了美國，在去好萊塢之前居住於密西根和維吉尼亞。在抵達好萊塢的頭一年她曾拍攝過各種露骨角色。
