耳後腺

位於無尾兩棲類動物的眼後、枕部兩側的皮膚腺·聚集成一定形態，具有種的差異，如蟾蜍屬（Bufo）具有明顯的耳後腺·花背蟾蜍（Bradei）耳後腺大而扁·西藏蟾蜍M（Btibetanus）耳後腺短而寬，呈豆狀·中華大蟾蜍（BbMAgargarizans）耳後腺長圓形·黑眶蟾蜍（Bmelanostictus）耳M後腺大，長橢圓形·耳後腺和皮膚腺擠取的白色漿液，經加工、乾燥後成為中藥——蟾酥·蟾酥含有30種以上的甾體化合物，生理活性物質主要是蟾毒及其水解產物蟾毒配基·蟾酥具有解毒、消腫及止痛的功效·。

蟾蜍耳後腺

蟾酥是蟾蜍皮膚分泌的白色漿液 ,分泌部位為耳後腺和皮膚上的疣狀突起 (稱皮膚腺 ) .目前中藥材所用主要取自耳後腺的蟾酥 (《本草衍義》)

【異名】蟾蜍眉脂(《藥性論》)，蟾蜍眉酥(《日華子本草》)，癩蛤螞漿(《新疆藥材》)，蛤蟆酥(《山東中藥》)，蛤蟆漿(《中藥材手冊》)。

【來源】為蟾蜍科動物中華大蟾蜍或黑眶蟾蜍等的耳後腺及皮膚腺分泌的白色漿液，經加工乾燥而成。

動物形態詳蟾蜍條。

【採集】夏、秋季捕得蟾蜍後，將體表洗淨，晾乾，然後刺激其耳後腺及皮膚腺，使之分泌漿液。

漿液須盛於瓷器內，忌與鐵器接觸，否則易變黑色；並須立即加工，以免時間過久而變質。
