劇情簡介
美國尼米茲號航空母艦在例行維修時，遭遇奇怪的風暴，突然與美國太平洋艦隊失去聯繫。在遭遇日本“0”式偵察機和發現珍珠港泊滿了二戰前的戰艦後，艦上官兵們才意識到，自己所在的航空母艦穿過時光隧道，回到了二次世界大戰前夕的珍珠港，艦上官兵進一步發現正要對珍珠港發動攻擊、啟發戰端的日本航空母艦艦群，要么憑藉自己先進的戰鬥機和飛彈對日本艦隊搶先發動進攻，進而避免珍珠港慘遭浩劫，同時改變歷史；要么遠離珍珠港讓歷史順其自然地發展。更令眾人煩惱的是，他們救起的參議員在日本對珍珠港發動襲擊前瞬間消失了。襲擊迫在眉睫，他們不得不做出抉擇。

幕後製作
影片中，當一架F-14戰鬥機做出一個懸崖跳水動作後在即將要撞到水面時拉起，戲耍了尾隨在後的日本“0”式偵察機。該鏡頭中F-14飛行時產生的音效並不僅僅有實錄的F-14聲音，還混入了飛行員的妻子頭一次看到這一素材時發出的犀利尖叫，在影院裡的效果十分震撼。
在拍攝第一場鏡頭CAG 的雄貓戰鬥機從珍珠港起飛時，整個劇組對雄貓戰鬥機尾氣噴射威力的半徑估計不足，一個攝影機被戰鬥機噴出的氣流吹倒，導演不得不修改劇本，將原來的移動鏡頭全部改成固定機位拍攝。
