王秀紅，男，1964年生。1986獲北京農業大學學士學位，1989年獲北京農業大學碩士學位， 1997年獲中國科學院地理研究所自然地理學博士學位。1997年晉升為中國科學院地理研究所副研究員。

學術成就
主持和主要參加完成了國家自然科學面上基金、國家自然科學重點基金、國家重點基礎研究和發展規劃項目(973)和國家科技攻關項目30餘項。作為主要研究者的參與的項目“西部典型區土地整理生態評價的指標體系和方法”於2005年獲國土資源科學技術2等獎。已發表論文和參與專著編寫70餘篇（部）。
