男，安徽懷寧人，1954年12生。現任合肥工業大學土木水利學院教授、博士生導師，安徽省政協第八、九、十屆委員，中國力學學會理事、安徽省力學學會副理事長、安徽省土木學會常務理事、安徽省公路學會常務理事。2007年升任二級教授。

人物經歷
1978年8月畢業於合肥工業大學水利工程專業；
1978年9月—1980年8月合肥工業大學任教；
1980年9月—1982年12月合肥工業大學水工結構專業攻讀碩士學位、碩士；
1983年1月—1987年8月合肥工業大學土木系任教；
1987年7月—1990年6月中國科大力學系固體力學專業攻讀博士學位、博士；
1990年7月—1993年8月合肥工業大學任教，92年12月晉升為教授；
1993年獲國務院頒發的政府津貼；
1993年9月—1995年5月獲德國亞歷山大.馮.洪堡基金，在德國karlsruhe大學力學研究所從事科研工作；
1995年獲“安徽省優秀留學回國人員”稱號；
1999年5月在中國科大力學系增補為博士生導師；
1999年6月-—2007年12月任合肥工業大學土木建築學院院長。
