1996年畢業於中國科技大學近代力學系，並師從國內著名量子力學專家范洪義教授攻讀理論物理碩士，
1998年獲碩士學位，同年留學美國紐約城市大學，師從美國著名的密度泛函理論以及電子結構研究先驅Viraht Sahni教授，2004年獲博士。
2008年回國，被寧波大學聘為甬江特聘教授，研究員。
主要從事密度泛函基礎理論研究，現在在美國的APS上發表了論文6篇。還在JCP上發表5篇論文。
主要研究方向：現主要為密度泛函理論，一維多體模型，和流體力學。
