Wu Xueli was born in Beijing in the year 1962 and migrated to Singapore in 1991. Xue Li is a graduate of English Language from the Beijing Institute of International Politics; she is also a bachelor degree as well as master degree holder in the art of oil painting. graduated from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology of Australia and LaSelle-SIA College of Arts in Singapore. In the year 1985 to 1987 Xue Li was teaching in the Central Art & Craft Academy in Beijing, currently known as the Art Academy of Qing Hua University； Soon after she left her teaching assignment in 1987, Xue Li became a fulltime professional oil painting artist. Besides organizing her own solo exhibitions she is also actively participating in numerous group exhibitions, below are some of the major event she had taken part with． A good number of her art pieces are collected by China Art Museum, Singapore Art Museum, Chinese Artists Association, Li Ke Ran Art Foundation as well as some private collectors locally and abroad.
