主持或參與研究項目34個，其中50%為英國基金委項目。發表論文餘150篇，其中SCI收錄50餘篇、EI收錄40餘篇。指導博士生20餘名，其中16人已獲得博士學位。2007年被英國Bradford大學授予高級工程博士學位（Doctor of Engineering）。2008年起成為世界著名工程諮詢公司奧雅納集團公司(Ove Arup)水環境部門的專業顧問。
