莖生葉至少在莖下部的具柄。花萼裂片全緣；花柱一般不長於花冠，個別種稍長於花冠；花盤幾乎環狀至短筒狀。
我國產6種，分布於廣東、貴州以北，四川和甘肅東部以東各地。
亞組模式：Adenophora remotiflora Miq.
