畢業於河北大學化學系。現為天津大學教授、博士生導師。享受國務院政府特殊津貼,國家教委理科化學課指委、教育部化學化工課指委成員,天津市學位委員會化學學科評議組成員,全國降解塑膠研究會副理事長。長期從事教學和科研工作,從事專業為套用化學

主要成就

研究方向為天然大分子修飾改性和功能化及環境友好材料的製備技術和套用開發研究。主持並完成部、委級科研項目12項,在科技成果轉化為生產力方面作了大量的工作,並取得顯著成績。其中如以澱粉為原料經氧化成雙醛澱粉再經表面微囊化覆醛和穩定化處理後,使其具有治療氮質血症和尿毒症的尿素氮吸附藥“包醛氧澱粉”獲國家頒發的新藥證書,被列為國家級新藥,並獲國家教委科技進步二等獎、國家科技進步三等獎。在此基礎上引入固定化酶的技術研究開發的新一代產品“吸附尿素氮的膠囊口服劑”獲國家發明專利授權。國家“八五”攻關項目“澱粉型光生物可控降解地膜的研究開發”在完成年產兩千噸的規模化生產經天津市經委鑑定驗收後,獲國家計委批准進行萬噸級的產業化實施工程。其核心技術堆肥環境自降解塑膠的製備方法獲發明專利授權。熱塑性澱粉塑膠是一類可完全降解的塑性材料。作為一種材料尚有許多基礎問題要解決,如材料的機械性能、耐水性、澱粉的回晶等問題。近期在套用基礎研究方面進行了探索性的研究,也取得一些初步成果。已公開發表研究論文100餘篇,其中有40餘篇 被SCI、EI收錄。獲授權發明專利二項。已培養出博士研究生6名、碩士研究生18名。目前有9名博士生、5名碩士生在學。
