約翰·斯托里，英國桑德蘭大學媒體和文化研究中心主任兼文化研究學教授。他的著作包括《文化原理和通俗文化：讀本》（Cultural Theory and Popular Culture : A Reader）（1998年第二版）、《文化研究和通俗文化的研究》（Cultural Studies and the Studies of Popular Culture）（1996）、《什麼是文化研究：讀本》（What is Cultural Studies : A Reader）（1996年）、《文化消費和日常生活》（Cultural Consumption and Everyday Life）（1999年）等。
