2002年以優異成績畢業於河北農業大學植物病理學專業，同年考入華中農業大學分子植物病理專業，成為廖玉才教授的碩博連讀研究生，2008年1月獲華中農業大學植物病理博士學位，畢業留校。主要從事小麥赤霉病菌群體、毒素及與小麥互作研究。 科研項目國家自然科學基金重點項目：“基於抗體的植物真菌病害分子控制原理與技術研究”（2006-2009，參加）國家自然科學基金面上項目：“我國小麥赤霉病菌的遺傳多樣性及產毒性和致病性研究”（2008-2010，參加）
