華南師範大學生命科學學院副研究員。試鞏主要從事浮己員腳蘭游食物網營養動力學、赤潮生物學和赤潮生態學方面的研究,在Science of the Total Environment, Harmful Algae, Scientific Reports, Marine Ecology Progress Series, Marine Pollution Bulletin, Protist, Frontiers in Marine Science等國內外重要主流期刊以第一作者發表學術論文10餘篇。先後主持國家自然科學基金青年基金項目、廣東省普通高校青年創新人才項目等項目。

研究方向
以我國典型赤潮藻為研究對象, 開展赤潮生物生理生態學、赤潮發生機制和赤潮的生態學效應等方面的研究。
