男，漢族，1963年2月生，陝西乾縣人。
1982年9月 -1992年7月在蘭州大學數學力學系、數學系學習，並獲理學博士學位 （基礎數學，非線性分析研究方向，指導教師： 陳文山原教授）.

1992年7月 -1998年7月在甘肅省西北師範大學任教，
1998年8月至今在山東省煙臺大學任教.
現為煙臺大學數學與信息科學學院教授、副院長, 蘭州大學兼職博導, 中國工業與套用數學學會理事.
國際學術期刊《Differential Equations and Applications》編委。2008年起享受國務院政府特殊津貼.
學科領域：1. 非線性橢圓型偏微分方程; 2. 非線性常微分方程. 在國內外學術刊物發表論文70餘篇，其中，被《SCI》收錄或即將收錄27篇，論文100多篇次被其他學者在‘J. Math. Pures Appl.’、‘J. Diff. Equations’、‘Discrete and Continuous Dyniamical systems’、‘Proc. Roy. Soc. Edinburgh Math. A’、‘Proc. Amer. Math. Soc.’、‘Advanced Nonlinear Studies’、‘Comm. Pure Appl. Anal.’、‘Nonlinear Anal. ’、‘J. Math. Anal. Appl.’ 等國際著名雜誌和著作、國際會議論文集引用. 先後承擔4項國家自然科學基金 (主持2項), 3項省級科學基金; 曾榮獲省科技進步三等獎, 並多次榮獲省高校優秀科研成果獎.
