張峻瑞於奧克蘭大學工程學院的土木與環境工程系深造（2021.10-2025.02），並由紐西蘭商業創新就業部（MBIE）資助項目（Smart Idea - Endeavour Fund）及紐西蘭韌性抗震研究中心（QuakeCoRE）共同支持攻讀工學博士學位。他的博士課題主要在“套用外貼式碳纖維（EB-FRP）增強複合材料對鋼混樓板進行抗震加固的性能研究”和“關於使用具有偽塑性的 FRP 複合材料加固鋼筋混凝土的界面粘結性能研究”的科研方向，導師為Dr. Enrique del Rey Castillo、Dr. Lucas Hogan和Dr. Tom Allen。
此前，張峻瑞碩士畢業於中國蘭州大學土木工程與力學學院，其研究方向集中於：孫偉教授主持的“碳纖維複合材料表層嵌入式（NSM）加固混凝土結構中碳纖維錨固力學性能及設計原理研究”（2018-2019）。以及，在潘春林副教授指導下的“鋼筋與超高強混凝土（UHPC）的材料界面性能研究”（2019-2021）。並於同年，應美國匹茲堡大學（University of Pittsburgh, United States）Dr. Andrew P Bunger邀請，在2019年10月1日—2019年12月31日赴美國留學交流。
