學校簡介
富特旺根套用科學大學的歷史可以追溯到於1850年由Robert Gerwig所建立的巴登公國鐘錶學校，隨後，該校所在的黑森林地區便成為全世界首屈一指的鐘表與精密機械科研與製造中心。1852年，該校於富特旺根成立德國鐘錶博物館，並保存至今。
一戰之後，該校成為一所巴登州立的精密機械與電氣工程學院。
第二次世界大戰後，該校轉變為富特旺根（黑森林）工程學院。1971年德國對高等院校進行改革，該校轉變為富特旺根套用科學大學，並於同年開始設立經濟管理類專業和其他更全面的工程類專業。在隨後的發展過程中，富特旺根套用科學大學的科研與教學一直處於同類院校頂尖水平。
富特旺根套用科學大學最早設立於1850年，經過多年發展，目前在風景如畫的黑森林地區擁有三大校區，分別位於富特旺根、菲林根-施文寧根以及圖特林根。同時，該校在富特旺根校區設有創設於1852年的德國鐘錶博物館（Deutsches Uhrenmuseum），展出過去數世紀至現代的鐘表產品。

所獲榮譽
該校的所有專業均獲得了德國著名評估機構Acquin 和Fibaa 的評估認證。2007年該校"國際企業管理"和"國際商務管理學"兩個專業被評為全德少有的"五星級專業"，2008年其"國際企業管理"專業位列全德大學第三名。2012年在德國各類高校國際合作評比中榮獲第一名，並被評為全德高校國際合作最佳典範。截至2014年，該大學有6194名在校學生。
