容志建，廈門大學數學科學學院副教授，博士。2002年獲廈門大學信息與計算科學學士學位，2007年獲微分方程數值分析博士學位，長期從事偏微分方程數值解法研究，聚焦譜方法、區域分解算法及基於偏微分方程的圖像處理技術。
2007年起留校任教，歷任助理教授、副教授。期間曾赴新加坡南洋理工大學擔任研究員（2008-2009），赴法國普瓦捷大學數學系訪學（2016）。在《Computer Methods in Applied Mechanics and Engineering》等期刊發表論文，涉及多維橢圓方程節點稀疏格線譜元法、自適應小波配點圖像分割模型等方向。2012至2015年間多次擔任碩士、博士論文答辯委員會成員及秘書，參與指導散射特徵值問題、Hamilton-Jacobi方程等多領域研究。
承擔微積分IV課程組組長職責，參與學院課程思政建設活動。其研究推動譜元法在電磁場模擬及流體力學等工程計算中的套用，長期服務於數學人才培養與學術事務。
