宋美嫻，女，遼寧大連人，法學博士，大連海事大學法學院副教授、“興海”教授。2009年本科畢業於大連海事大學海商法專業，2010年11月獲倫敦大學學院法學碩士學位，2012年11月獲英國南安普頓大學法學博士學位。2013年9月至2016年6月任教於英國埃克塞特大學法學院，2016年6月至2022年4月任教於英國南安普頓大學法學院，2017年獲英國高等教育學會會士資格。
2022年10月入職大連海事大學法學院後，主要從事海商法、保險法、英國商法與契約法研究，出版專著《Causation in Insurance Contract Law》，在《Legal Studies》《Lloyd’s Maritime and Commercial Law Quarterly》等期刊發表論文30餘篇。現任《Lloyd’s Shipping and Trade Law》期刊主編，兼任深圳國際仲裁院等機構智庫專家。

2012年11月英國南安普頓大學（Universityof Southampton）獲博士學位。
期間通過了中國司法考試後取得律師執業資格。
工作經歷
2013年9月至2016年6月就職於英國埃克塞特大學（Universityof Exeter）法學院，講師。
2016年6月至2022年4月就職於英國南安普頓大學法學院，講師。
2017年1月成為英國高等教育學會會士（Fellowof Higher Education Academy）。
2022年10月至今 大連海事大學副教授，興海教授。
研究方向
海商法，保險法，英國商法和契約法。
