安德魯·麥卡錫，美國著名演員，因主演《七個畢業生》、《紅粉佳人》、《神氣活現》等片而成為年輕偶像，是80年代許多少女觀眾心目中的白馬王子。

人物簡介

念紐約大學戲劇系時，麥卡錫就開始在劇場登台表演，1983年《高材生》籌拍，他從數百名應試者中脫穎而出，展開演藝生涯，亦決定放棄未完的學業。

由於外貌斯文，麥卡錫多扮演懦弱少爺之類的角色，近年來他也嘗試不同以往的動作片及喜劇的角色，但風頭已明顯不及當年。

《緋聞女孩》新一季其中一集,將由80年代銀幕偶像安德魯·麥卡錫執導。他承諾在明年春季向廣大觀眾交上滿意的答卷,並保證與原先的作品風格一致。

安德魯·麥卡錫可能並不為當下年輕人了解,不過他領銜主演的《紅粉佳人》和《零度下的激情》無疑是80年代的代表作,因此他有著“80年代銀幕偶像”的稱號。另外,安德魯還在短命劇集《口紅叢林》中,曾扮演時裝設計師Victory的億萬富翁男友,並且在早前的《緋聞女孩:特別版》中扮演Lily的父親。

安德魯把他對於青春期躁動,情愫和戲劇性生活的充分認識和體驗運用到了他現在的工作當中,或許正因為此,電視台才讓他來執導一集目前最受當下年輕人歡迎的劇集《緋聞女孩》。

安德魯接受採訪時說:“他們很有悟性,比我那時強多了。

我們原來就像一群什麼都不知道的小孩兒,四處亂轉。”安德魯還承諾會在春季向廣大觀眾交上滿意的答卷,並保證新劇集會與原先的作品保持風格一致。

另外安德魯補充稱:“這集絕對好看,女孩兒之間的三八,猜忌,嫉妒,就像以往的劇集一樣。”不過,他對故事細節守口如瓶,但是他還是告訴大家,故事梗概類似《愛你九周半》。據了解,該電影描述了一對幾乎陌生的男女之間激情迸發的香艷情事。
