人物經歷
1977-1982在陝西師範大學歷史系學習 ，獲得歷史學學士學位；1985-1988在上海華東師範大學哲學系學習，獲得哲學碩士學位；1992-2001在美國洛杉磯加州大學（UCLA）歷史系學習，獲得歷史學碩士、博士學位。
