貝殼小型，略呈梭形。殼長3.5毫米，寬1.5毫米。白色，光澤，相當堅固。螺旋部卷旋入體螺層內。頂端收縮較緩，略呈尖狀但不形成尖管形。體螺層膨脹，稍寬，為貝殼之全長。殼表光滑，在近兩端有精細的螺旋溝，中部平滑。生長線明顯。殼口狹長，略呈彎弓狀。上部狹，底部擴張，呈斜圓形。外唇薄，上部自體螺層頂端開始，中部向內彎曲，底部斜圓形。內唇石灰質層狹而薄。軸唇厚而斜，反褶緣覆蓋部分臍區。殼口內面白色。

生物學描述
暖水性種類。生活在潮下帶淺水區到水深108m泥砂質底。在我國台灣海峽西部，大鵬灣。不常見。日本(本州、四國、九州)也有分布。
