劉建亞，1964年生，長江學者、國家傑出青年基金獲得者，教授、博士生導師。現任山東大學黨委常委、副校長，威海校區校長，山東大學研究生院院長。

人物經歷
1980年9月入河北師範大學數學系學習，
1984年7月畢業後在河北廊坊師範學校、寧夏大學任教。
1989年9月至1992年7月在山東大學與寧夏大學數學系攻讀碩士學位。
1992年9月至1995年7月在山東大學數學系攻讀博士學位。
1995年7月起在山東大學數學系任教，先後被聘為副教授、教授，
1999年9月任山東大學數學院副院長，
2003年10月任山東大學數學與系統科學學院院長，
2008年4月兼任威海校區數學與統計學院院長，
2015年7月任山東大學黨委常委、副校長，
2015年9月兼任山東大學研究生院院長，
2016年4月兼任威海校區黨委書記、校長，
2017年1月不再兼任威海校區黨委書記。
主講課程
高等代數、Fundamentals of Number Theory，解析數論基礎，Topics in Automorphic Forms，代數數論等，其中“解析數論基礎”和“Topics in Automorphic Forms”是解析數論方向研究生的必修課，特別地，“Topics in Automorphic Forms” 是改革課程設定之後為碩士生和博士生新開的選修課，內容涵蓋自守形式的基本理論、解析理論、譜分解理論等，包含了當代解析數論研究的熱點和難點問題的基礎知識。“代數數論”課程以世界經典的名著為教材，講述當代代數數論的基本理論：理想論，賦值論，Tate’s thesis和類域論等。這是進一步學習自守表示的重要基本知識。
