人物介紹
主要學習經歷： 1981年長江大學（原湖北荊州師範學院）化學系畢業，後在華南師範大學進修一年；1985年考入武漢大學化學系高分子專業讀研究生，獲理學碩士學位；2003年考入南開大學高分子化學研究所攻讀博士學位，獲得理學博士學位。曾經於1991年由國家公派在英國Nottingham大學做訪問學者一年，學習教學教法；1997年由國家教委派遣赴國外任教兩年；2001年在加拿大Montreal大學做高級訪問學者一年。
主要工作經歷：大學畢業後，多年在原湖北荊州師範學院（現並為長江大學）任教。1994年評為副教授，1995年破格評為教授。1997年被授予“湖北省高校跨世紀學科帶頭人“稱號；曾經擔任荊州師範學院化學系黨總支副書記，化學系主任，學校科技處長。中國化學會會員，湖北省化學化工學會理事。2004年以後在江南大學化學與材料工程學院工作。

代表性成果
主持完成省級科研項目4項，作為主要研究者完成湖北省重大科技成果一項（已通過省科技廳鑑定鑑定），同時參與國家自然科學基金項目及其他省級科研項目的研究多項。研究課題有《智慧型水凝膠的研究與套用》、《以天然產物為原料的溫敏酸敏性水凝膠的合成及套用》（國際合作項目）、《螯合樹脂的合成與性能及廢水淨化研究》、《新型螯合樹脂的合成及吸附性能研究》、《中國與開發中國家基礎教育比較研究》、《淡水魚火腿腸的研製及除腥技術》等。在國內外專業期刊上發表文章60 多篇，其中19篇被SCI、多篇被EI等檢索。
獎勵與榮譽
1、題目：高耐磨增強超支化雜化聚合物UV固化晶須複合功能材料製備及套用。全國輕工聯三等獎，排名第二。
3、題目：高效多功能油水分離與中水回用集成技術開發及裝備產業化。中國商業聯合會科技進步三等獎，排名第四。
4、湖北省高校跨世紀學科帶頭人。
