創作背景
2010年的艾美頒獎禮上，除了看到那些優秀的劇集獲獎，最讓我印象深刻的就是jewel在“悼念前輩演員”這一個環節所演繹的這首《the shape of you》。這首歌本身也是jewel為了紀念一位她去世的好朋友所創作的歌，歌詞寫得很真摯感人，旋律節奏靜靜緩緩的，只是用一把及其簡單的吉他作為整首歌曲的伴奏，就像是在向所有的聽眾講述自己心中對那些已去的人深深懷念。當時看這個環節，大熒幕上一頁頁出現已故的美劇演員生前照片和表演片段，全場燈光調的那么暗，舞台正中央，一束微弱的光打在jewel身上，同樣也照在了那把簡單的吉他身上，台下的名流，演員，影迷都忍不住靜靜的流淚了。此情此景，讓我感觸頗深。珍惜好所擁有的一切吧，失去以後也只能用這種方式來紀念了。
