Sway創作背景
推出Drive專輯後，經過兩年不停巡迴演出，在1999年底開始製作第二張專輯Beautiful Collision，整張專輯長達兩年多時間才完成，於紐約、洛衫磯、威靈頓、基督城及奧克蘭(包括Bic自己的家中錄音室)錄音，於2003年9月在紐西蘭及澳洲推出，同年10月全球發行了該專輯《Beautiful Collision》。
作者簡介
紐西蘭的女創作人Bic Runga，生於紐西蘭基督城 (Christchurch)，父親Joseph為毛利人 (Maori)，母親Sophia為中國人(原姓鄧)，小時受她兩個姐姐Boh和Pearl的影響，愛上寫歌和玩奏樂器。中學時代加入了組合 xtrasmokefreerockquest 和 Love Soup，後被發掘而簽約 Sony Music五年，於1997年推出首張專輯 Drive，推出後旋即在紐西蘭達到三白金銷量，並於當地Tui awards(地位等同葛萊美獎)連奪四大獎－－最佳專輯，最佳唱片，最佳演唱表演及最佳唱作人，後更成紐西蘭音樂史上銷量最高的本地女歌手。Bic擅長作曲作詞，並懂玩奏多種樂器，包括吉他、鋼琴、打鼓等，在兩張專輯中均有顯露其音樂才華，不但負責全碟曲詞及編曲，亦親自玩奏樂器，新專輯Beautiful Collision更邀請她母親和兩個姐姐客串。兩張專輯的首曲她以吉他自彈自唱，將她最真的一面透過曲詞流露出來。

Bic生活照擁有中國人的血統，而能在樂壇大放異彩(大姐Boh為紐西蘭樂隊Stellar*的女主音歌手兼吉他手，二姐Pearl為Ce Soir的歌手)，Bic和她的家庭，成為海外華人和音樂人的驕傲。

感想
這首歌也作為《美國派1:美國餡餅》中電影結尾的插曲，當一對對戀人纏綿悱惻時，這首輕快的歌徐徐響起，把戀人之間的那些的情感波折展現的淋漓盡致。第一次聽到這首歌的時候，就是通過這個電影，第一次聽的時候，就被這個溫柔旋律迷住了。戀愛中每個人都會有舉旗不定的時候，有甜蜜，懷疑，苦惱，思念。不過不管遇到什麼，兩人都要堅持，一路走下去，直到幸福的重點。送給你，luzu。
