特里斯坦·普瑞提曼(Tristan Prettyman)是一名來自加利福尼亞（California）聖地亞哥（San Diego）的創作型歌手和前Roxy模特。她簽約於維珍唱片（Virgin Records）並且發行在2005年8月發行了她的首張主要唱片專輯《Twentythree》。她的第二張專輯《Hello...x》發行於2008年4月15日。而《Cedar And Gold》則為她的新專輯。Glass Jar是《Cedar And Gold》中的主打歌之一。與《I was gonna marry you》的格調相似，都是十分憂傷的歌曲。與之前《Twentythree》、《Hello...x》的歡快風不同。讓人不禁聯想是否與Jason分手有關，其歌詞中的you give up on us 更是與Jason 新專的主打歌《I won't give up》相對應。兩人長達八年的戀愛，最終以分手告終，更是讓人唏噓不已。總之，希望他們都能幸福。
