No one can avoid being influenced by advertisements.
When you walk along the streets, you can see large boards with pretty girls Smiling at you. You read newspapers, and see half of the pages covered with ads. You turn on TV, and you see commercial advertisements again. Whether you like it or not, advertisements fill your life.In order to attract more customers, advertisements will sometimes go to extremes. Advertisements use every possible means in producing their announcements. For example, to advertise a certain food, advertisers will employ an actor to sit at a table and eat up their seemingly delicious food product while they film him. Although advertisements enable you to make decisions quickly, sometimes they can cause lots of trouble. There are always many of them and they make you forget what you are sitting there for.
More and more advertisements are seen on the TV screen. It's difficult to find a program without insertion of ads on TV. Foods, clothes, domestic appliances, cars -- everything you can think of --are presented on television. occasionally, we can also see some public welfare ads, appealing to people to respect the old or to protect the environment. In a word, whether you like it or not, the advertisement pours into your life. With the rapid development of economy, many manufacturers have realized the important role of advertisements in that they can stimulate production and win the market. In our competitive society, consumers usually have the choice of several brands of the same product. Therefore, manufacturers are confronted with such a problem: how to make their products known to consumers. They solve it by advertising on TV, which attracts a lot of people every day. What is more, most consumers are interested in advertisements because they wish to get from TV advertisements the first-hand information about new products, which enables them to make a decision quickly and to choose the one that they like best. As far as I am concerned, I am in favor of TV ads because some of them are interesting and informative. But there is no denying that some of them are tedious and not trustworthy. Therefore, I think it is really high time that the TV stations strengthened the control of advertisements and made them more attractive.
