課程簡介

本堂微課為精讀課，首先通過一些生活中常見的雕塑，繪畫，舞蹈，剪紙，陶藝等引出藝術這一話題，藝術讓我們的生活豐富多彩，這堂課我們重點了解繪畫這一板塊，通過向同學們展示中外名畫，中外著名畫家，及對比中外畫作區別，讓學生對話題有足夠了解，並喚起學生對西方繪畫的興趣，從而引出我們主題——西方繪畫簡史。緊接著對文章進行快速閱讀及精讀，通過略讀、尋讀等閱讀技能訓練學生的閱讀能力，讀後通過識別各類畫作風格鞏固學生學習知識，最後通過相互討論各自喜歡的畫作及說明原因練習學生如何用英語表達個人喜好，同時檢查對所學知識的運用能力。

設計思路

Teaching goals： 1.To enable the students to have a knowledge of the short history of western painting. 2.To improve the students’ reading ability. 3.To help the students enjoy themselves from the experience of artistic pursuit and also improve their artistic accomplishment. Teaching important & difficult points Enable the students to talk about the short history of Western painting Teaching methods Task-based teaching; individual, pair or group work; discussion Teaching aids A computer, a tape recorder, a projecto and a blackboard. Teaching procedures & ways Step I Lead-in To lead in the topic by mentioning the sculptures or paintings around the students, such as the seal cutting on the campus, famous paintings hanging on the walls of the corridor of the school building, etc. Ask Ss to figure out their functions and the general term to call them—the works of art Step II Warming-up Show some famous paintings and ask: 1. Do you know the following famous paintings and painters? Mona Lisa Smile → Leonardo Da Vinci (Italian, 1452-1519) Sunflowers & starry night → Vincent van Gogh (Dutch, 1853-1890) Water Lilies → Claude Monet (French, 1840-1926) Dream & Seated woman → Pablo Picasso (Spanish, 1881-1973) 2. Comparison: Make a comparison of Western and Chinese painting and ask: Which do you think has a greater change? Why? 3.Ask: Can you tell the ages of the above western paintings?
