《Try》的原定演唱者為創作人Busbee、本·維斯特所屬的組合GoNorthToGoSouth，他們也將該歌曲交與美國男歌手亞當·蘭伯特錄唱，只是後者不合意。凱莉·克萊森、Daughtry亦是他們的選擇對象。末了，P!nk成為該歌曲的所有者。在該歌曲中錄製過程中，吉他樂器的錄製由凱文·德克士負責，格萊戈·克里斯汀身兼鍵盤、吉他、貝司編程者、製作人及混音師。
