《The Night is Still Young》創作靈感來源於吃喝玩樂的夜店生活，並受到迪斯科流行樂的啟發，作為《The Pinkprint》第六主打單曲發行的計畫由共和唱片籌劃，替代了《Truffle Butter》（Young Money娛樂Cash Money唱片的打算），因此該曲亦導致《Truffle Butter》原本預定拍攝的音樂視頻落空。該歌曲創作並錄製於2014年，製作由該曲的創作者Dr. Luke和瑟卡特處理。
